Filing a Copyright Complaint
If you believe content on Mean Grid infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes the following:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL or location of the material on our site.
- Your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use isn’t authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you’re authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Our Response Process
Once we receive a valid notice, we review it promptly and remove or disable access to the flagged content if the claim holds up. We’ll also notify the user responsible for posting the material, giving them a chance to respond.
Counter-Notification
If your content was removed and you believe this happened by mistake, you can submit a counter-notice with similar details. We’ll review it and may restore the content unless the original claimant pursues legal action.
Repeat Infringers
Mean Grid reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts belonging to users who repeatedly infringe on others’ copyrights.
